About the Role

Technical Project Manager Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects within a financial institution. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience managing software, fintech, banking, or digital transformation projects and a strong understanding of technology delivery processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and other business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities * Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of technology projects. * Translate business requirements into clear technical project plans, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. * Coordinate cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Operations, and business stakeholders. * Work closely with technical teams to understand project scope, dependencies, technical risks, and delivery requirements. * Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies. * Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives where applicable. * Track project progress and provide regular status reports to management and relevant stakeholders. * Identify project risks and blockers early and drive timely resolution. * Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, decisions, processes, and deliverables. * Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, deployment, and post-launch activities. * Work with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize tasks and manage project backlogs. * Ensure technology projects comply with internal policies, security standards, and relevant financial-sector regulations. * Coordinate with external vendors, technology partners, and service providers where required. * Manage changes to project scope and ensure proper impact assessment and stakeholder approval. * Continuously identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, team collaboration, and operational efficiency. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. * 4–5 years of proven experience in Technical Project Management, preferably within fintech, banking, financial services, or a technology-driven organization. * Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and technology project delivery. * Practical experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Ability to understand technical concepts, APIs, system integrations, databases, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows. * Experience managing cross-functional technology teams and multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar platforms. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects within tight timelines. * Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. * Experience with financial technology, payment systems, digital banking, lending, reconciliation, or other financial platforms will be an advantage.
